After many unbeaten launches of Asha series Nokia has announced a budget phone which it claims would be giving a serious competition to the competitors in low-end and medium-end phones. Asha series is specially made for Asian market as it is a potential market of middle and low priced phones. Nokia has been able to reduce its manufacturing cost significantly and produce budget phones successfully after they have moved their production facilities to China.
The best thing about this medium priced budget phone is that it incorporates many of the latest features with dual sim capability, which other brands are not offering in their phones of this price range. Dual Sim functionality is really a stunning features as it saves us from the burden of second mobile phone.
Before Asha 305 most phones of this series were having a QWERTY keyboard but changing the rules Nokia Asha 305 has a large 3 inches capacitive touchscreen, which supports multitouch capability. Users can now enjoy pinch-to-zoom in viewing their images. It has accelerometer which turns the screen automatically as you rotate your phone.
There are plenty of basic features which you may expect in a phone of this price range like radio, Java app, MP3/MP4 player; most wanted feature in any market of the world, organizer and downloadable games. However, there is no Wi-Fi in this phone.
The Li-Ion 1110 mAh battery promises 40 hours of music playback and you can enjoy your favorite tracks for long hours. We can say that this Asha is a music phone with pretty smart touch screen and other features.
