Nokia has come out with its second S40 QWERTY keypad phone called Nokia X2-01.The first one being the very popular C3-00.In a lot of ways, both these handsets show similarities as well as resemblance.
X2-01, like the C3 has a QVGA landscape display with a full QWERTY keyboard below it. Other features include GSM, GPRS and EDGE connectivity but it lacks 3G which has become a trend as well as requisite in phones of its range. Phones like Samsung S5620 and Moto L7 which come in the same price range facilitate the 3G technology making them better than Nokia’s X2-01.
The various other specifications of this handset are Bluetooth, FM radio, audio player and a video player. The camera comes with a 3 mega pixel lens which makes it nothing but an ordinary phone camera when compared to Sony Ericsson K750i’s which clicks sharp and crisp images with amazing clarity. In fact the previous Nokia X2 was equipped with a 5MP camera and definitely proved to be better than its improvised version.
Nokia X2-01 is one the heavy phones in the market with a weight of 114g, which is a usual feature in the nokia mobile handsets. All the basic points like USB connectivity, Java support and a TFT display screen are covered and covered efficiently by this handset. If you are interested in buying a Nokia made phone with good, not great features and don’t mind comprising on the looks, then Nokia X2-01 will prove to be a good option.
