The Nokia C6 is the new edition from the mobile major Nokia, in the range of touch screen – meet - QWERTY devices. Within the same range Nokia has released the Nokia C5 and the Nokia C3. Both these handsets did not meet up to the expectations due to the slow typing experience and bumpy rubberiness. So far, the images that are being circulated over the web, it seems that Nokia C6 has sorted out the limitations of the previous phones and offering more authentic feel this time. The QWERTY slider looks like a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic while the keys got a resemblance of Nokia N900. However, what seems to be missing in Nokia C6 is the tilting display that is present on the Nokia N97 and N97 mini. This factor might act as a downer to some of the die-hard Nokia followers. The C6 model of Nokia is expected to arrive in the market with 3G connectivity, microSD™ card slot, 5 mega pixel camera and touch screen from the image functionality. We will discuss about the specifications in the remaining sections of this review. The official announcement of the mobile phone has been made already, and it is expected to release during the second quarter of 2010.

Look is one of the vital aspects of the mobile phones. Initially, people get attracted to a particular handset because of its looks. There will be hardly any takers of those handsets that offer excellent features, but fail to grab the eye balls of the buyers. Nokia, was not very innovative in terms of design of the handsets, in earlier times. However, the company has changed its perspective, and now it brings cool and sophisticated looking handsets in various sections. The C6 is another addition to list of Nokia mobile phones and this device is quite attractive. Available in two shades, black and white, Nokia C6 looks gorgeous. The mobile phone measures 113 x 53 x 16.8 mm, and it weighs 150 grams.
The biggest USP of the mobile phone seems to be its huge display screen. It boasts a 3.2 inch TFT touch screen with 16 million colours and a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. The display includes top class features such as an accelerometer sensor for UI auto rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn off. On top-center position of the handset, you can notice the logo Nokia, while C6 is visible on the top-left. At the bottom of the touch screen, the major functional keys are featured. When the smart phone features are present in a handset, then good memory back up is always vital. C6 is inclusive of an internal memory of 200 MB, which can practically store unlimited entries and fields of Phonebook; and 30 days data of detailed call records.
