The GW300 is a messaging focused handset which comes with a full QWERTY keyboard which allows the user to input text at high speeds thanks to the well spaced out QWERTY keyboard. This handset has a solid bar style casing with no opening systems & the user can view the colour screen which is situated directly above the full QWERTY keyboard. The screen is 2.4 Inches in size when the user measures it diagonally & has a TFT display. This GW300 mobile phone has rather stylish circular keys which are just below the screen & allow the user to navigate around their phones menus & features with ease. Its casing looks similar in design to members of the BlackBerry Smartphone range, but this handset is not a Smartphone simply a user friendly messaging compatible phone complete with a QWERTY keyboard. Its casing weighs approximately ninety five grams which gives it a solid weight without weighing the user down when carrying their new phone.
The GW300 supports easy to use messaging service which allows the user to chat & communicate with other messaging users using a variety of messages. This mobile phone supports an email service allowing the user to send, receive & store email format messages. The user can also create & share a message containing text which is known as a SMS text message with other mobile phone users. A MMS messaging service allows the user to share their photos or video clips with other MMS compatible contacts & the user can store their messages or even send their MMS messages to a selection of contacts if required. These built in messages are easy to use which are accessible via the phones main menu & the user can enjoy using the QWERTY keyboard when typing text. A built in clock allows the user to keep an eye on the time when they are out & about, & a built in alarm feature allows the user to set their alarm to get them up each morning or the user can set the alarm as a reminder. The user can play games on their handset as the GW300 has preloaded games & the user can download new games to suit the user gaming needs. An integrated Web browser provides a Facebook compatible Web experience allowing the user to update their Facebook account & access their latest messages from their Facebook friends.
A built in music player allows the user to download new music or transfer music from their computer which can be played back on the GW300. The user will find s set of earphones provided with their new mobile phone which allows the user to have a private listening experience. The LG GW300 comes with a built in digital camera feature which has a two megapixel camera lens situated on the back of the casing & the user can capture & store either still photos or video footage using this built in camera. The camera feature allows the user to take a picture which can then be shared with others via the MMS messaging service allowing the user to share experience as soon as they happen. The user can record & play video footage on their mobile phone which is a fun feature & provides the user with entertainment on the move.
This handset supports EDGE technology & GPRS which allows the user to enjoy fats speed transfer rates when transferring data between the LG GW300 & other devices. The GW300 supports two connectivity methods which means the user can use a USB cabled connection when connecting to USB compatible devices or use a Bluetooth® wireless connection when connecting their GW300 handset to other Bluetooth® compatible devices. This messaging focused handset comes with a rechargeable battery which is fully rechargeable via the power adapter. A fully charged battery can provide approximately five hours of GSM talk time for the user to enjoy. It comes with a memory card slot which supports MicroSD™ type memory cards allowing the user to insert a memory card in the memory size to suit the user's storage needs. The GW300 works over a GSM tri band network which will automatically switch between network bands automatically allowing the user to enjoy roaming throughout the UK, Europe & in the majority of the USA.
