The Sony Ericsson Yari is a striking looking 3G handset which comes in two coloured casings including a cranberry white coloured casing or a sleek achromatic black coloured casing. The overall style, shape & design of the Yari, allows the user to enjoy using a compact, stylish & user friendly mobile phone. It weighs 115 grams including the fitted rechargeable battery it comes with, which provides a solid & sturdy feel to the casing. It measures 10cm high by 4.8cm wide by 1.57cm in depth which is a good size for a 3G slider opening handset. The Yari is a Sony Ericsson handset which comes from the same range as the Sony Ericsson Aino which is another stunning 3G handset but each phone comes with differing features & with differing style which make them unique.Its colour screen is 2.4 Inches in size when measured diagonally which the user can view when the handset is either in its opened position or its closed position. This stunning screen provides a 240 pixel by 320 pixel screen resolution & displays up to 262 thousand colours. The user can access the navigation control wheel & call keys when the handset is either closed or opened, & if the user needs to use the keypad then the user can simply slides open the bottom section of the casing to reveal a user friendly keypad.

The Yari comes complete with some easy to use gaming features which will keeps its user entertained for hours. The phone supports a 3D gaming experience complete with motion game support & gesture gaming controls all with the use of dedicated gaming keys. The motion games include games such as Nitro Street Racing. The user may be a rock star in the making & enjoy games such as Guitar Rock Tour or like to stay in shape with the fitness game. Whatever gaming experience the user prefers then this handset allows the user to enjoy a fun & lively gaming experience on their phone. The gesture controls allow the user to make movements in front of the 2.4 Inch screen which allows the user to control their gaming movements by gesture controls. The user will find many games preinstalled on their Sony Ericsson Yari but the user can download more games to suit their gaming style. If that wasn't enough to keep the user busy the this phone comes with more entertainment including a FM radio which allows the user to tune into their preferred radio station & enjoy a mobile listening experience complete with radio RDS which allows the user to read text on their screen related to the radio station the user is listening to. The Yari supports MP3 format ringtones & polyphonic sound ringtones allowing the user to download new sounds to suit the user's taste of ringtone sound. A built in music player allows the user to turn their Sony Ericsson Yari in a portable MP3 player complete with high quality sound & useful features. This music player supports a TrackID™ music recognition feature which means the user can record a short section of a song they like the sound of & the music recognition feature will indentify the name of the song, the album which it is from & the name of the artist or group performing the song. The user can view an album art display when listening to their music & use a shake control to control their music selection.

The Yari comes with a Walk Mate fitness step counter which will suit those fitness focus users when wishing to record how many step they are walking during their day. A fitted battery will provide approximately 450 hours of standby battery time when fully recharged or approximately 10 hours of talk time dependant on the features being used by the user. The Sony Ericsson Yari covers a quad band GSM network & a UMTS 900 & 2100 3G network allowing the user to use their handset worldwide. The full network coverage all depends on the users network service provider so may vary from phone to phone. Its 3G technology allows the user to experience high speed connectivity & enjoy multi using feature such as browsing the Internet whilst on a call. The Yari has sixty megabytes of built in memory & has an memory card slot which supports MicroSD™ type memory cards allowing the user to extend their handsets memory capabilities further if required. The user can connect their phone to other devices when the user wishes to transfer files & the Yari supports both Bluetooth® wireless technology & USB connectivity which provided the user with two connectivity options.
