The Sony Ericsson C901 is a stylish bar designed mobile phone packed with great entertainment and imaging features and functions. This stylish looking handset comes available in a choice of three coloured casing which include black, peach and a silver colour. The C901 handset has a great solid feel to it but is not heavy, with a respectable weight of 107g and with measurements of 105mm x 45mm x 13mm the C901 is a great sized mobile phone which easy is to hold and operate with ease. There is a 2.2 inch TFT coloured screen displaying up to 262k colours with screen resolutions of 240 x 320 pixels, making for clear and colourful displayed images. Underneath the display screen there is a navigation key which allows the user to access and browse through the menus quickly and with ease. You can expect to gain up to 9.5 hours of GSM talk time up to 430 hours of GSM stand-by time with a full charge up of the battery. The Sony Ericsson C901 is part of the Sony C range with other handsets including the C903 and the C905 mobile phones.

Camera & Imaging

The Sony C901 mobile phone does only come with a 5 mega-pixel camera feature, but not to worry as 5 mega-pixels will still provide great quality images assisted by a fantastic selection of imaging settings and features. These settings include Cyber Shot technology, Xenon Flash, Digital Zoom, Auto-Focus, Face detection, Geo Tagging and a Smile Shutter. All of these functions and features allow the user to take cracking snap shots with great quality. The user can also record their own video footage on their Sony Ericsson C901 mobile phone with the built-in video recorder function. There is a video player setting which allows the user to watch their recorded back on the colourful 2.2 inch TFT display screen. Video streaming can be enjoyed by the user as well as the animated and picture wallpapers that come available on the handset.

This can be assisted with the 3G HSDPA, EDGE and GPRS technologies that also come built-in into the C901. The Sony C901 operates on a Quad-band network which covers GSM – 850/900/1800/1900 & HSDPA – 900/2100 enabling the user to have full access to their phones features and services whilst abroad. Connecting to other compatible is a simple process as the Bluetooth with A2DP and USB technologies are provided with the handset.

Messaging Services

Sending messages is a great way to keep in contact with friends and family and the Sony C901 comes with a selection of messaging services. These include SMS, MMS (multi-media messaging), Instant Messaging and Emailing. There also the predictive text input technology which allows the user to write a text message in quicker time making the process a whole lot easier. A sound recorder feature is available on the handset allowing the user to record short sound clips and input into a message if they so wish.

Gaming & Applications

Another source of entertainment featured on the C901 mobile phone is the built-in gaming facilities. There are Java, 3D and Motion games available enabling the user to keep boredom at bay and brighten any dull train journey.
